The position is based out of the corporate office in Chennai and focuses on the statutory compliance of the group and the general administration of the corporate office and estates in Chennai. The position reports to the Head of HR and coordinates with the factories’ HR representatives to ensure statutory compliance. The position may require extensive traveling across the country.

Job Responsibilities

  1. To ensure execution of all HR Processes, including factory skill level recruitment, Associate Relations, Attendance, Leave, Payroll, and all statutory compliance like ESI/PF/Labour Contracts, etc., wherever applicable. Maintenance of Leave and Attendance registers.
  2. Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines
  3. Review and ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files
  4. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager
  5. Should liaise with the government officials (Labour commissioner etc. ) to ensure that all the statutory compliance is coordinated and done at all site level
  6. Manage contract labour vendor/ manpower by complying with all the statuary requirements.
  7. Ensure proper tracking of leaves, attendance of all the employees
  8. Ensure that all the welfare activities like Accommodation (Guest House, rental houses, etc. ) and the basic amenities like regular items, food, water, and shelter are arranged and maintained.
  9. Maintain compliance & HR MIS tracker
  10. Oversee compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  11. Manage employee relations by addressing worker and contractor grievances and resolving conflicts.

Skills/Experience

  • A degree in Human Resources
  • At least five years of experience in handling Plant HR.
  • At least three years of experience in handling statutory compliance in a factory environment
  • Experience in handling General Administration of a corporate office, plant & estate
